Setting rates

Explicit selling rates for the call shop can be defined by a call shop Administrator by clicking on the Set Rates link of the online call shop billing system.  Rates set using this mechanism override the Rating Factor defined on the configuration page.  This page has four sections:

 

Special rates list

 

This shows a list of all selling rates that have already been defined.  The rates can be changed or removed from the list using the links on the right side of the table.

 

Search for a special rate

 

Alternatively, a specific special rate can be displayed and altered by selecting its destination from the drop down box and clicking on the Continue button.

 

Add a special rate

 

This section has a form that can be used to add a new selling rate to the list of special rates defined. The rate will come into effect when the Continue button is pressed.

 

Destination

The country name for the rate.

City

The city or network name.

Rate

The rate, in the shop's local currency, for the chosen destination.

 

Uploading a rate table

 

Rather than adding all the rates individually, a full rate table can be prepared in advance and uploaded to the call shop biller.  A form is presented with a button to select the local Microsoft Excel file holding the rates.

 

The worksheet must have three columns, containing

 

Field 1 contains the country for destination name.
Field 2 contains the name of a city or mobile network within a country.
Field 3 contains the rate.
